Heat-health alerts are in place across Sussex. Please take steps to keep yourself and others safe during the hot weather by staying hydrated and keeping cool. Attending an in person appointment at one of our clinics? We recommend you bring a bottle of water with you. Visit the UK Health Security Agency and NHS websites for advice on beating the heat and recognising the signs of heat exhaustion and heatstroke.
What is the Community Appointment Day?
This isn’t like any other appointment, you won’t just see 1 clinician in a small room:
You will be able to see all the specialists you need to at this appointment.
You will have as long as you need with the clinicians you need to see, there is no end time to your appointment.
Most patients do not need to see us again after this as they have had every treatment they needed.
There will be other patients seen at the same time as you, but we have designed the event to ensure your privacy. The sports hall will be divided into large sections for each specialism with 5-20 clinicians per section.
